what is Curio?

Curio was created as an alternative to the abundance of identical mediocre home goods. The inundation of generic plastic pieces with no sign of human or earth or play behind their shiny, mass-produced facades. I strive to create goods that are flawed yet beautiful; organic and balanced. Objects aiming to normalize expectations of beauty in everyday rituals. Objects that have purpose and boast of earth and story. And that, above all, remind us the most beautiful materials are born outside and formed by imperfect human hands.
